According to data from blockchain analytics platform Dune Analytics, the value of on-chain payments made via cryptocurrency cards soared by 525% year-on-year in 2025. The total transaction volume of Visa cryptocurrency cards grew from $14.6 million in January 2025 to $91.3 million by the end of the same year. This growth was driven by six platforms that support Visa cryptocurrency cards, namely GnosisPay, EtherFi Cash, Cypher, Avici Money, ExaApp and Moonwell. Among them, EtherFi Cash and Cypher were the major contributors to the transaction volume, with amounts reaching $55.35 million and $20.52 million respectively.
