烏克蘭檢方近日指控，一個由多名前警官組成的團夥涉嫌綁架加密貨幣創業者，並勒索金額超過220萬美元。該團夥包含兩名前警方上校在內的四名警務人員，以及一名有犯罪前科的平民。他們利用公務資源與車輛，假冒執法人員實施犯罪，目前已確認至少有四名加密創業者受害。其中一起案件中，一名基輔受害者遭持槍綁架，並被迫簽署總額500萬美元的虛假債務文件。涉案警務人員均已被免職，案件現已移交法院審理。

Ukrainian prosecutors have recently charged a gang composed of former police officers with kidnapping cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and extorting more than 2.2 million US dollars. The gang consists of four police personnel, including two former police colonels, and a civilian with a criminal record. They abused official resources and vehicles to pose as law enforcement officers to commit crimes. At least four crypto entrepreneurs have been confirmed as victims. In one case, a victim in Kyiv was kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to sign false debt documents worth 5 million US dollars. The involved police officers have been dismissed, and the case has been transferred to the court for trial.
