4月28日，阿聯酋發布聲明，宣布自5月1日起正式退出石油輸出國組織（OPEC）以及OPEC+聯盟，並將逐步提升石油產量。消息釋出後，國際油價短線快速下跌，西德州（WTI）與布倫特原油價格同步重挫，單桶跌幅一度超過2美元，隨後小幅反彈。截稿當下，WTI原油報價每桶99.63美元，布倫特原油為每桶104.23美元。

阿聯酋於聲明中表示，退出OPEC及OPEC+聯盟的決策，符合本國長期發展戰略、經濟願景與能源產業發展方向，並且將持續逐步擴增石油產能。

On April 28, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued an official statement announcing its formal withdrawal from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the OPEC+ alliance, effective May 1, with plans to gradually increase oil production.

Following the announcement, international oil prices plunged sharply. WTI and Brent crude prices tumbled rapidly, dropping by more than 2 US dollars per barrel at one point before a mild rebound. As of press time, WTI crude oil stood at 99.63 US dollars per barrel, while Brent crude oil was priced at 104.23 US dollars per barrel.

The UAE stated in the statement that the decision to leave OPEC and OPEC+ aligns with the nation’s long-term development strategy, economic vision and the development roadmap of its energy sector. Meanwhile, the country confirmed it would ramp up oil production step by step.
