Dan Finlay, co-founder of MetaMask, announced his departure from its parent company Consensys. Meanwhile, he noted that he was glad to witness MetaMask successfully launch the Advanced Permissions feature based on ERC-7715 before leaving. He described it as a vital missing piece in the wallet ecosystem, and looked forward to using the feature as an external developer in the future. According to MetaMask documentation, this function supports human-readable permission confirmation via the MetaMask extension, and applies to highly interactive dApps and certain AI Agent scenarios.
