According to Bloomberg, Naveen Mallela, Global Co-Head of the Blockchain division at JPMorgan, has announced his departure from the bank, ending more than a decade of service. Mallela was appointed Global Co-Head of the Kinexys division in 2024, which focuses on developing products and services in areas such as payments using blockchain technology. JPMorgan confirmed the departure and stated that a new leader will be appointed in the near future.

Launched by JPMorgan in 2019, the blockchain-based payment network Kinexys now processes $5 billion in daily transaction volume, designed to provide corporate clients with around-the-clock payments and automated services for certain foreign exchange transactions.
