四大會計師事務所安永(EY)在最新報告中警告稱,隨著「智能錢包」(Smart Wallet)的興起,傳統的銀行帳戶做為客戶主要接觸點的地位正在下滑。報告指出,若金融機構無法「擁有錢包」,也就是掌握這項整合身分驗證、資產管理與支付功能的關鍵客戶入口,將面臨失去客戶關係的風險,最終可能淪為單純的後台基礎建設供應商。
EY, one of the Big Four accounting firms, warned in its latest report that with the rise of 'Smart Wallets', the status of traditional bank accounts as the primary customer touchpoint is declining. The report pointed out that if financial institutions fail to 'own the wallet'—that is, seize this key customer entry point that integrates identity verification, asset management and payment functions—they will face the risk of losing customer relationships and may eventually be reduced to mere back-end infrastructure providers.
