In an interview with *Fortune* magazine, Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, stated that the company is working to transform itself from a cryptocurrency exchange into an **everything exchange**, and plans to roll out stock trading services to all clients in the coming weeks. Currently, this service is only available to a limited number of users, with back-end operations handled by Apex Fintech Solutions. Brian Armstrong pointed out that while stock trading is being offered through traditional means for the time being, the ultimate goal is to realize tokenized equity — that is, to issue stocks natively on the blockchain.
