韓國支付公司 BC Card 已完成一項穩定幣支付試點計畫，允許外國用戶透過穩定幣向韓國當地商家付款。該試點由 BC Card 聯合區塊鏈公司 Wavebridge、錢包服務商 Aaron Group 以及跨境匯款機構 Global Money Express 共同推動，外國用戶可將海外錢包中的穩定幣兌換為數位預付卡進行消費。BC Card 為韓國最大的支付公司之一，據稱處理全國超過 20% 的銀行卡交易，合作商家遍及國內約 340 萬家本地業者。

South Korean payment company BC Card has completed a stablecoin payment pilot program that allows foreign users to pay local merchants in South Korea via stablecoins. The initiative is jointly promoted by BC Card, blockchain firm Wavebridge, wallet service provider Aaron Group, and cross-border remittance institution Global Money Express. Foreign users can convert stablecoins in their overseas wallets into digital prepaid cards for consumption purposes. As one of South Korea’s largest payment companies, BC Card is reported to process over 20% of the country’s bank card transactions, covering approximately 3.4 million local merchants.
