On Tuesday, the price of Bitcoin plummeted, falling below $100,000 for the first time in more than four months. Investors, growing increasingly concerned about the sustainability of the continued surge in AI stock valuations, have been selling off such risky assets.

Bitcoin dropped 6% on the day to 100,870, with an intraday low of 99,966. This marks the first time Bitcoin has fallen below the 100,000 threshold since June 23. Ethereum also declined nearly 10% on Tuesday, closing at 3,296.
