According to the *Ming Pao*, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) (referred to as 'Standard Chartered Hong Kong' for short) recently conducted a survey under the framework of the 'e-HKD+' project initiated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). The results show that three-quarters of high-net-worth clients are interested in entering the digital asset sector, and nearly 80% of respondents plan to participate in digital asset investment activities within the next 12 months.
He Man-chun, Head of Wealth Solutions at Standard Chartered Hong Kong, stated that as clients’ interest in digital assets gradually increases, the bank will launch trading services for Virtual Asset Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) in November. This will allow clients to participate in such emerging investment projects through Standard Chartered’s platform and further expand their asset allocation portfolios.
