香港金管局 FB 發文表示，注意到市面流傳著一份使用金管局標誌、有關銷售穩定幣的宣傳單。金管局澄清並沒有發出過任何相關的宣傳單張。  

金管局稱，目前隻有認許提供者可以合法要約提供法幣穩定幣。目前認許提供者僅限於：持牌穩定幣發行人；獲證監會發牌進行第1類受規管活動的法團；獲證監會發牌的虛擬資產交易平台；銀行；儲值支付工具持牌人。非認許提供者不得向零售或專業投資者要約提供穩定幣（無論該穩定幣是否受監管）。虛擬資產場外交易機構（OTC）目前不屬於《條例》下的認許提供者。

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) stated in a Facebook post that it has noticed a leaflet circulating in the market bearing the HKMA logo, which is related to the sale of stablecoins. The HKMA clarified that it has not issued any such leaflets.  

The HKMA emphasized that currently, only authorized providers may lawfully offer fiat-backed stablecoins. Authorized providers are limited to: licensed stablecoin issuers; corporations licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to conduct Type 1 regulated activities; virtual asset trading platforms licensed by the SFC; banks; and licensed stored value facility providers. Unauthorized providers are prohibited from offering stablecoins to retail or professional investors (regardless of whether the stablecoin is regulated or not). Virtual asset over-the-counter (OTC) institutions are not currently considered authorized providers under the Ordinance.
