The European Central Bank (ECB) has cut the deposit facility rate by 25 basis points to 2%, in line with market expectations, marking the seventh consecutive meeting of interest rate reductions. The main refinancing rate and marginal lending rate have been lowered from 2.4% and 2.65% to 2.15% and 2.4% respectively.
