Citi lowered its 12-month price forecasts for Bitcoin and Ethereum. The Bitcoin target was reduced from $112,000 to $82,000, while Ethereum’s target fell from $3,175 to $2,240. The bank also slashed its 12-month ETF net inflow projection from $10 billion to zero. Citi noted ETF flows have turned negative recently, with Bitcoin ETFs recording roughly $3.3 billion in outflows year-to-date. Slow progress on U.S. crypto legislation and investor fears that corporate digital asset treasuries may offload Bitcoin have also weighed on market sentiment.
