Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the 21st, saying Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Munir have departed for Switzerland to attend high-level talks concerning the implementation of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding. Senior delegations from Iran, Qatar and the United States will also take part in the talks.The Foreign Ministry noted that this meeting marks the first formal face-to-face consultation since the US-Iran memorandum was signed on June 17. Pakistan will keep offering support and fully promote the full execution of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding.
