The Ethereum mainnet has successfully completed the Fusaka upgrade and achieved finalization. Fusaka is a crucial step in Ethereum's scaling roadmap, with specific functions including enhancing L1 performance, expanding blob capacity, optimizing rollup cost efficiency, and improving user experience (UX). Additionally, it has introduced the Blob Parameter Only (BPO) fork mechanism, which is used to safely increase blob capacity when rollup demand rises. It is understood that Consensys previously stated that Ethereum now plans to adjust its upgrade rhythm from once a year to 'two hard forks per year' to accelerate development progress.
