SEC Chair Paul Atkins posted on X that for far too long, the SEC had been at odds with new technologies and innovation, driving entrepreneurs abroad, but “that era is over.” He stated that under the Trump administration, the SEC will work with the executive branch and Congress to provide much-needed regulatory clarity for the digital asset market.
