百慕大總理David Burt於2026年邁阿密共識大會（Consensus Miami 2026）表示，百慕大正擴展「鏈上經濟」計畫，透過向居民發放USDC穩定幣、導入本地商戶接受數位支付，推動穩定幣融入日常商業交易場景。

今年百慕大政府將配合下周登場的2026百慕大數位金融論壇，再次推出USDC空投活動。參與者可透過錢包領取穩定幣，並於當地合作商戶消費使用。

Burt指出，該計畫旨在傳統刷卡網路與銀行支付體系之外，建構全新支付基礎設施，協助中小企業降低交易成本，同時提升大眾金融服務的可取得性。

Bermuda Prime Minister David Burt stated at Consensus Miami 2026 that Bermuda is expanding its **on-chain economy** initiative. By distributing USDC stablecoins to residents and encouraging local merchants to adopt digital payments, the country aims to integrate stablecoins into everyday commercial use.

The Bermuda government plans to launch another USDC airdrop alongside the upcoming Bermuda Digital Finance Forum 2026 next week. Participants will receive stablecoins in their digital wallets and be able to spend them at local merchants.

Burt noted the program seeks to build payment infrastructure outside traditional card networks and banking rails, lowering transaction costs for small businesses and improving access to financial services.
