Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent reaffirmed during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland that U.S. President Donald Trump is committed to making the United States a global leader in cryptocurrency innovation and will continue to push forward with the strategic Bitcoin reserve plan. 'The policy of this administration is to incorporate seized Bitcoin into our digital asset reserves upon the completion of relevant judicial procedures,' Bessent stated. 'Therefore, in our view, the first step in building a Bitcoin reserve is to halt the sale of Bitcoin, which we have already done; the next step is to continue increasing relevant assets and seized proceeds.'
