According to RIA Novosti, Tether, the issuer of USDT, has registered the trademark for its asset tokenization platform Hadron in Russia. Public records show that Tether filed the trademark application in October 2025, which was approved in January 2026. The exclusive right to use the trademark is valid until October 2035. The trademark can be applied to blockchain financial services, cryptocurrency trading and exchange, crypto payment processing, as well as related consulting services.
