US President Donald Trump stated that after the negotiation proposal with Iran was submitted to and approved by Iran’s top leadership, he decided to cancel the military strike against Iran scheduled for that night. Trump said relevant parties including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt have reached consensus on the framework and specific details of the agreement. Maritime blockades against Iran will remain in place pending the signing of the final accord; the time and venue for signing will be announced separately.
