摩根士丹利透過旗下E*Trade平台推出加密貨幣交易服務，並以更優惠的費用向業界競爭者發起挑戰。

這家華爾街銀行針對每一筆加密貨幣交易，按交易金額收取50個基點手續費，收費標準低於美國最大加密貨幣交易所Coinbase、羅賓漢證券以及嘉信理財。

目前這項服務仍處於試營運階段，預計今年稍後將全面開放給E*Trade平台860萬名客戶使用，也是摩根士丹利布局加密資產領域的最新動作。

銀行高層坦言，過去傳統銀行幾乎完全無法涉足此類資產板塊。公司看好傳統金融與去中心化金融將逐步走向融合，並持續在各業務線擴展加密貨幣相關產品，藉此吸引過去隻能透過其他平台進行交易的投資客戶。

Morgan Stanley is launching cryptocurrency trading services via its E*Trade platform, challenging competitors with more competitive pricing.

The Wall Street bank charges a fee of 50 basis points on the transaction value for each crypto trade, lower than the fee levels of Coinbase — the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange — as well as Robinhood Markets and Charles Schwab.

The service is currently in the pilot phase and is expected to be fully opened to E*Trade’s 8.6 million customers later this year. It marks Morgan Stanley’s latest move to expand into the crypto asset sector.

Senior executives of the bank stated that traditional banks were previously almost entirely excluded from this asset class. The firm bets that traditional finance will gradually integrate with decentralized finance, and plans to expand cryptocurrency-related products across business lines to attract clients who previously traded on other platforms.
