伊朗最高領袖穆傑塔巴·哈米尼9日晚就前任最高領袖阿裏·哈米尼殉難四十日與現時戰事等議題發表書面談話，提出三項主張：侵略者必須賠償損失、荷姆茲海峽的管理將邁入新階段、伊朗絕不放棄正當權利，並將本地區所有「抵抗陣線」視為一體。

穆傑塔巴表示，伊朗將在談判桌與戰場上推進既定目標，「徹底擊敗敵人」。

On the evening of the 9th, Mojtaba Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, delivered a written statement on issues including the 40th day of the martyrdom of the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the current military conflicts, putting forward three propositions: aggressors must compensate for losses, the management of the Strait of Hormuz will enter a new stage, and Iran will never give up its legitimate rights and regards all 'Resistance Front' forces in the region as an integral whole.

Mojtaba stated that Iran will advance its set goals both at the negotiating table and on the battlefield to 'defeat the enemy completely'.
