Trump stated that he expects the United States to conclude its war with Iran within two to three weeks, suggesting that Washington has largely achieved its military objectives and will leave the issue of the Strait of Hormuz to other nations.

'I would say in two weeks, maybe three, we’re getting out because there’s no reason to be doing this,' Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday.

Trump also hinted that a deal with Iran remains possible during this period.
