據日經新聞，日本金融廳計畫加強對加密資產違規行為的處罰。針對未註冊即從事加密貨幣銷售的機構，最高刑期擬從 3 年以下提高至 10 年以下，罰金上限也將從 300 萬日圓提高至 1000 萬日圓。相關修法計畫近期提交國會，以強化投資人保護。

According to Nikkei, the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) plans to toughen penalties for violations involving crypto assets. For entities operating unregistered crypto sales, the maximum prison term is proposed to be raised from up to 3 years to up to 10 years, while the upper limit of fines will be increased from 3 million yen to 10 million yen.

The relevant legal amendments are scheduled to be submitted to the Diet soon, aiming to strengthen investor protection.
