華爾街日報獨家報導，美國司法部正在調查伊朗利用幣安規避製裁，調查重點關注透過加密平台流向支持恐怖組織（包括葉門胡塞武裝分子）的網絡的資金。華爾街日報稱，此次調查是在幣安撤銷一項內部調查之後展開的，該調查涉及超過 10 億美元的資金透過幣安流入一個資助伊朗支持的恐怖組織的網絡。

幣安發文回應稱，已在 2025 年 8 月和 2026 年 1 月分別將 Hexa Whale 與 Blessed Trust 兩個實體從平台退場，並稱沒有證據顯示其帳戶與伊朗實體存在直接交易。幣安披露，2025 年共處理逾 71,000 份執法請求，過去三年協助執法機構扣押超過 7.52 億美元資產，其中約 5.79 億美元為美國政府機構相關案件。

幣安宣布已對《華爾街日報》提起訴訟，指控其發布不實及毀謗性報導並造成重大名譽損害。幣安稱，此舉旨在應對不實資訊侵害，並追究該媒體將點閱率置於新聞誠信之上的責任。幣安聲明，從未終止任何（內部）合規調查。幣安表示並未獲知任何（美國司法部的）相關調查。

The Wall Street Journal reported exclusively that the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating Iran’s use of Binance to evade sanctions, focusing on funds flowing through crypto platforms to networks supporting terrorist organizations, including Yemen’s Houthi militants.  

According to the Journal, the investigation was launched after Binance dropped an internal probe involving more than $1 billion in funds flowing through Binance into a network financing Iran-backed terrorist groups.

Binance responded in a statement that it had delisted two entities — Hexa Whale and Blessed Trust — from its platform in August 2025 and January 2026 respectively, adding that there is no evidence of direct transactions between those accounts and Iranian entities.  

Binance disclosed that it processed over 71,000 law enforcement requests in 2025 and helped authorities seize more than $752 million in assets over the past three years, of which approximately $579 million was related to cases for U.S. government agencies.

Binance announced it has filed a lawsuit against **The Wall Street Journal**, accusing the outlet of publishing false and defamatory reports that caused substantial reputational damage.  

Binance stated the action aims to address harm from misinformation and hold the media outlet accountable for prioritizing clicks over journalistic integrity.  

Binance also clarified that it **never terminated any internal compliance investigations** and said it was not aware of any related investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice.
