據香港文匯報，香港大學副校長汪揚撰文指出，在香港數位資產市場中，數位人民幣已嘗試性參與結算；港幣及人民幣債券的一級發行除傳統結算方式外，亦出現全球首批在結算流程中應用數位人民幣與數碼港幣的數碼債券案例。他認為，香港將是承接內地資產 RWA 的最佳市場，隨著監管磨合與市場發展，更大規模的人民幣資產有望在香港發行數位資產，結算貨幣將自然優先選擇數位人民幣。

According to Wen Wei Po, Wang Yang, Vice President of the University of Hong Kong, stated in an article that in Hong Kong’s digital asset market, the digital yuan has been used on a trial basis for settlement. In addition to traditional settlement methods for the primary issuance of Hong Kong dollar and RMB bonds, there have also been the world’s first digital bond cases that use the digital yuan and digital Hong Kong dollar in the settlement process.

He believes Hong Kong will be the best market to underwrite mainland RWA assets. As regulation matures and the market develops, larger-scale RMB assets are expected to be issued as digital assets in Hong Kong, and the digital yuan will naturally be the priority settlement currency.
