Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced that it will accept **AE Coin** stablecoin payments at nearly 980 gas stations across the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The company has entered into a partnership with **Al Maryah Community Bank**, enabling stablecoin payments via the bank’s AEC Wallet for services including fueling, convenience store purchases and car washes. AE Coin is the first central bank-approved stablecoin in the UAE, with a 1:1 peg to the UAE Dirham (AED).
