CME Group suspended foreign exchange, stock futures and commodity trading due to a failure in the cooling system of its data center, and the EBS foreign exchange platform was also affected. The outage involved all futures and options contracts on the Globex platform. CME stated that it is actively making repairs and will announce details on resuming trading as soon as possible. According to LSEG data, after the suspension, quotes for S&P 500 Index futures, Nasdaq 100 Index futures and major currency pairs were all not updated.
