According to Bloomberg, Li Lin, founder of Huobi, is collaborating with early Asian Ethereum supporters—including Shen Bo (co-founder of Fenbushi Capital), Xiao Feng (CEO of HashKey), and Cai Wensheng (founder of Meitu—to establish a new digital asset trust fund. The fund plans to purchase a total of approximately $1 billion worth of ETH. The team is negotiating the acquisition of a Nasdaq-listed shell company to structure the fund. The capital already secured includes $200 million from Avenir Group, an investment firm owned by Li Lin, and about $500 million from Asian institutions such as Sequoia China.
