據日經新聞報導，日本三大銀行（包含三菱UFJ銀行、三井住友銀行、瑞穗銀行）將聯合發行與日圓及美元掛鉤的穩定幣，首個應用場景將用於三菱商事的結算業務。這三家銀行合計擁有逾30萬家主要業務合作夥伴。

According to a report by Nikkei, Japan's three major banks—including Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and Mizuho Bank—will jointly issue stablecoins pegged to the Japanese Yen and U.S. Dollar. The first application scenario of these stablecoins will be used for the settlement business of Mitsubishi Corporation. Collectively, these three banks have more than 300,000 key business partners.
