Ashley Alder, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), is expected to serve a three-year second term, with her current term set to expire at the end of this year. Since taking office in 2023, she has driven the recovery of large-scale IPOs, strengthened market supervision, and expanded the scope of virtual asset regulation, helping Hong Kong build a crypto trading hub.
