香港財政司司長陳茂波在最新的司長隨筆中表示，香港在綠色及可持續金融領域已是亞洲的領軍者，但除了規模之外，更需提供創新產品，以滿足不同國家與地區的發展需求。他指出，香港金融管理局（金管局）正透過 Ensemble 沙盒項目，探索代幣化在碳權發行與交易中的應用，藉此提升碳市場的流動性與深度。

In his latest 'Financial Secretary's Column', Paul Chan Mo-po, Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, stated that Hong Kong is already a leader in green and sustainable finance in Asia. However, beyond scale, it is more necessary to provide innovative products to meet the development needs of different countries and regions. He pointed out that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is exploring the application of tokenization in carbon credit issuance and trading through the Ensemble sandbox project, aiming to enhance the liquidity and depth of the carbon market.
