香港立法會議員吳傑莊在 X 上發文表示，近期穩定幣議題在香港及全球引發機構與持份者高度關注，香港金融管理局已就相關問題作出回應。金管局提醒，市民及機構須確認宣傳內容是否由金管局發布，避免被不當使用標識誤導；並回應市場對本地線下數位資產找換店是否可繼續銷售特定穩定幣的關注。吳傑莊提醒，穩定幣是 Web3 與金融創新的重要工具，但需警惕不法分子藉此行騙。  

Ng Kit-chong, a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, posted on X stating that the recent issue of stablecoins has attracted high attention from institutions and stakeholders in Hong Kong and around the world, and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has responded to related issues. The HKMA reminded that members of the public and institutions must confirm whether promotional content is issued by the HKMA to avoid being misled by the improper use of logos; it also responded to market concerns about whether local offline digital asset exchange shops can continue to sell specific stablecoins. Ng Kit-chong warned that stablecoins are important tools for Web3 and financial innovation, but vigilance is needed against criminals using them to defraud.
