據香港電台網站，《穩定幣條例》本周五起生效。金管局表示，將設6個月過渡安排，處理之前在香港已有穩定幣發行業務的機構，包括向有能力遵守監管規定的發行人，發出臨時牌照；若發行人未能在條例生效後3個月內符合相關要求，須在法例生效後4個月內有序結束在香港的業務；如果金融管理專員未能信納發行人有能力符合發牌準則及監管規定，發行人要在接獲拒絕通知後一個月內有序結束香港業務。

According to RTHK's website, the *Stablecoin Ordinance* will take effect this Friday. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) stated that it will implement a 6-month transition arrangement to handle institutions that have already engaged in stablecoin issuance business in Hong Kong. This includes issuing temporary licenses to issuers capable of complying with regulatory requirements. If an issuer fails to meet the relevant requirements within 3 months after the ordinance takes effect, it must orderly wind down its business in Hong Kong within 4 months of the ordinance's entry into force. If the Monetary Authority is not satisfied that an issuer is capable of meeting the licensing criteria and regulatory requirements, the issuer must orderly wind down its Hong Kong business within one month of receiving the rejection notice.
