According to Reuters, Interactive Brokers is considering issuing stablecoins for clients, aiming to support 24/7 account funding and crypto asset transfers. Founder Thomas Peterffy stated that no final decision has been made on the issuance method, and the company may also allow clients to use stablecoins from other issuers. Interactive Brokers has partnered with Paxos to offer crypto trading since 2021 and holds a stake in Zero Hash.
