香港財庫局局長許正宇昨日在某電台節目採訪中表示，穩定幣的底層是法定貨幣，日後可以電子資產形式，通過區塊鏈等科技用作支付功能。許正宇稱穩定幣的發行人由香港金管局監管，而監管的大原則與傳統金融資產相類似，相關發行人須符合儲備資產管理及贖回等方面的規定，包括妥善分隔客戶資產，當穩定幣持有人提出贖回要求時，必須要一個工作日內完成，以滿足用戶要求。

Michael Hui, Secretary for the Treasury of Hong Kong, stated in an interview on a radio program yesterday that the underlying layer of stablecoins is legal tender, which can be used as a payment function in the form of digital assets through technologies such as blockchain in the future. Hui noted that issuers of stablecoins are regulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and the regulatory principles are similar to those for traditional financial assets. Relevant issuers must comply with regulations on reserve asset management and redemptions, including proper segregation of customer assets. When stablecoin holders request redemptions, they must be completed within one working day to meet user requirements.
