The United Kingdom and the United States are close to reaching a trade agreement. They will set lower tariff quotas for steel and automobile exports to alleviate the impact of the 25% tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on related products in February and March. The agreement is expected to be signed this week, and the UK will also make concessions on the digital services tax and tariffs on American automobiles and agricultural products.
